I love some of this stuff. I only wish I had the money to be one of their clients and buy some of this stuff (and get the catalogs)...

(Yeah, I know I can buy a subscription for $75. But I'd rather have enough money that I'd get them free because I'm a good customer!)

Ziggy-- it is a great deal, even at $75. You get the catalogs, and also the Numismatic Sun and the Numismatic Perspective, both of which are issued a few times throughout the year. I doubt that ANR makes any money off of the $75 deal, but it is a steal and you get a ton of valuable information.

  • Ziggy: Bid online after registering and if you win a cheapo coin, I'm sure they'll send you all their material. I think all you need is a coin dealer reference.

Some fantastic coins in this sale. Some at very reasonable opening bids. I hope to add one coin from this sale to my collection. I just got this catalog, my first, two day's ago. I wish I could get the Sun and other of their reference material. But no such luck yet.image I have purchased coins from ANR previously from their website, not auctions.

Yeah, I know. Part of the inertia is thinking that they might have something I both need and reasonably afford, and that way I might receive them free for a while...but I'm not their target market for much stuff (as of now) so I should probably just suck it up and buck up...

Got my bids in. If you don't win anything, will they still send the material?? image

East to say so...it's not a half dollar-obviously the best denomination--therefore by definition it can't be the most beautiful coin ever.image

    Jim Edited to add

    bust half from same auction
Just because I'm old doesn't mean I don't love to look at a pretty bust.
