WHO AM I?
I am an increasingly eccentric coin collector that seems to follow no known set of rules except my own. Will I be remembered after I am gone? Hardly.
WHAT WILL I BE REMEMERED FOR?
I just hope I am remembered as a pleasant coin collector who had fun collecting and contributed a few things to the hobby. But I doubt that will happen.

In fact, most collectors think I am the book fellow Orville Grady. I am not.

cogito, ergo sum But beyond the metaphysical, it relates to my philosphy to coin collecting - I'm a coin collector who approaches collecting with an intellectual curiosity - Why do I like this Proof IHC? - It's an early stirke with orange peel surfaces and it has wonderful toning and the colors are very uniform and attractive - Collecting coins is a visual and aesthetic experience which I thoroghly enjoy - I've collected coins since Christmas day, 1949, and I hope to still be a coin collector when I'm 90, GOd willing
FOR WHAT WILL I BE REMEMERED?
Hopefully for the organization which I set up last year called the Toned COin Collectors Society - I set it up for those who enjoy collecting original toned coins - they are some of the most beautiful coins that you can collect, and some transcend coins and enter into the realm of visual art. Holding a coin with fantastic toning and great visual eye-appeal is truly a treat.

Mostly the slab book. Also for the two years that I was publisher of The Score, the national census of early date large cent collections. Assuming I don't do anything else in the future.

One of the local physicians. I'm the one who doesn't take off for a week once a month, dump his call on others, go out of town even though I'm on call, or chase his secretary around the desk behind his wifes back. I wish they would learn to tell us apart.

Saving some coins fronm the last fifty years for future collectors. I would have saved more
and better quality but I've had a life to lead and finding most of these has been tough. Per-
haps I'll write that book yet, and be remembered a little for it.

Good question-- I guess, just having a great time with family and friends, never a dull moment when I'm around !!!

I am a coin collector who is young and sometimes too eagar. I have learned to calm down and learn about the coins I collect instead of rushing into them ( most of the time). I try to learn the most i can about my Gold coins BEFORE i buy and I 99.9% of the time now just buy slabbed coins, i still take risks rarely.

I hope to be remembered for being a nice person who enjoied his coin collecting. I dont know if I can really teach you guys anything since you seem to be more experienced than I am . But i hope someday i will be able to share something and maybe impact someones life here for the better.

Just a regular guy, doing his best to provide for his family. I'm a reborn collector, who left the hobby in my teens and got back into it 3 years ago when my then 4 year old son started looking at State Quarters.
WHAT WILL I BE REMEMBERED FOR?
Being a good father, husband, friend, citizen and employee. On these boards, I'll be remembered by very few, because I'm more of a lurker than a poster.
WHO AM I CONFUSED WITH?
While refinancing my house recently, one of the credit reporting agencies confused me with my father (same first and last names). Try getting that cleared up in time for the passing of papers.
A highly introverted person that enjoys many things this old world has to offer, the beauty of nature, the beauty of history, the beauty of manmade objects from coins and stamps to archetecture to art and music of all types. I also have a tremendous appreciation for the natural beauty of this universe, whether it's viewing things through a microscope, a telescope or just the natural beauty that the naked eye can perceive.
For what will I be remembered?
Depends (no I didn't invent them, nor do I need to wear them), I mean it depends, upon exactly who is doing the remembering. My immediate family will probably remember me as a loving husband / father with a whacked sense of humor, willing to give them anything and everything if it would make them happy.
Friends and coworkers will probably remember me as the quiet guy (given that description, they probably won't remember me).
The world (likely) won't remember me unless I finally team up with Pinky and the Brain and succeed in taking over the world.

Sammy Davis jr. with the exception that I am not black, I can't dance, I don't have a glass eye, I didn't convert to Judism, I wasn't part of the Rat-Pack, I never played at Casinos in Vegas - other than that, exact duplicate of Sammy Davis jr.
