Coin Auction. For Frank, Lonelyp is the winner for 200 dollars and has been notified, congrats &

coin auction; 1956 Frankie pcgs m.s. 66 Full Bell Lines mint set coin. some light rainbow color near reverse rim, the rest of the coin is typical dark grey/silver mint set color.

I bought this coin from Lucy 2 years ago, another real Frankie lover like Frank was. The coin is worth about 125.00, minumum bid to start of half that to start please [62.50], other then that, I will let you decide how much you want to bid knowing that;

Proceeds will be donated to the fund set up for Franks Family. I would have done cash if I had the cash to give but I still wanted to do something.

Note to modes, please let this go...I want to do something.

No ebay, doing it here & now. My references with people who know me here and at major coin dealers ?

here first; Lucybop [she is the one I bought this coin from 2 years ago]

Dr. Pete [2 months ago I sold him the most expensive coin I ever owned] pm him and ask him if he's happy ?

Coin guy 1, haven't bought anything from him recently but did when he was at Pinnacle rarities.

    One last thing,

The cut off for bidding will be Sunday night at midnight central time. Because of my daytime school commitments I will only be able to make it to the post office and bank on Saturdays [to pick up the coin & mail it to the winner after I get the check].

As an added tidbit, if the winner pays with a money order or bankdraft, I will pay for registered insured mail myself on the coin.

I wish to have as many friends as Frank clearly had, I hope he knows, I'm sure his wife & family know.

This has already exceeded my expectations. Don't forget, bidding ends at midnight central time Sunday night when I will announce end of bidding and pm the winner to ask for his or her mailing information.

Also I would ask that the winner use a money order or bank draft in which case I will pay for insured mail delivery myself {I only use the post office} I will not use Fed Ex or U.P.S. ever again for anything. Keep in mind that I can only get to the bank & post office on Saturdays to pick up & mail the coin because of being in school full time right now.

Thanks again and keep the bidding going.

I am bringing this thread to the top one more time tonight [now] and twice tommorow, the last time will be at 10 pm unless someone else does. Bidding ends at 12:00 pm central time Sharp Sunday night. After I pm the winner at 12:01 or close to it I'm going to bed and will be out untill at least 6 pm Monday.

If I have the bankdraft or money order in my possesion in time to get to my bank before before it closes and the post office next Saturday, that is when I will mail the coin to the winner, if not you will have to wait untill the following Saturday as I will not take off from school early to pick up or mail the coin.

One last reminder, bidding ends in about 90 minutes.

200 dollars at the moment is the high bid.

I'll post "closed" at midnight and pm the winner, then I'm off to bed for school tommorow.
