I will say number 2. It looks to have the characteristics in the serif of the "I" and also the lines on the reverse that connect the stars are broken. However, if I remember, there are 2 reverse dies used and it is not necessarily a characteristic of the AH.

    Doing this all from memory...

My guess is 2 and 3, but I don't know diddleysquat about Kennedys. In fact, the first time I heard about AH was here about 2 months ago. It just looks as if the hair above the ear is stronger... and... I didn't even know there was other indicators. Now I'm curious.

None. The first two coins are transitionals, as they have the broken ray reverse, but they're both mated with the second obverse die and not AH.

Damnit Heath, that's what I was going to say! They are DMR-2s.
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

Sorry for the late response.....DHealth is correct on this one. There are several die's used in the 1964.

These are just a few showing that there is only one designation of the AH and it has to have all three of the markers correct (from what I am aware of).

I was actually hoping that Russ would jump in on this one since he is the master of all things Kennedy.

You posted it after I went home last night. By the time I saw it this morning, Don had already answered the question.
