I guess I've hit the big time on eBay.
They just sent me this month's invoice, and this is what it says:
<< <i>Please be advised that due to the size of your invoice file for account XXXXXXXXXXXXX-XXX, it is too large to be sent to your email service. Your total amount due is -$4.27. >>

Editted to add: Also, was the invoice too large in terms of dollar value or too large in terms of number or items sold?

<< <i>Whoa! Soon you'll be as famous as MadMarty! >>
I will never be a famous as Russ!!!
<< <i>Now you gotta make it happen again next month! Was there an unusually large sale that you did this last month or is it the result of steady growth? >>
Actually, this is the fourth month this year like this. It's been a pretty good year. But, I'm still a piker compared to Marty. He sells more in a week than I do in a month.

Owing a negative number is an interesting concept.
How did they arrive at this number? Can you actually send a check with a negative number to someone and have money move into your accout rather than out of your account? I might persue that in the future!
So how come you're not proudly displaying the coveted "PowerSeller" emblem ?

Because I ignored their eMail invitations until they finally stopped sending them.

That's right, Russ is so rich he doesn't need the Power Seller rebate!

There is with PP, keep up doing $2,000 a month and they lower your fee to 2.1%

That has nothing to do with the Power Screwer program.
I am now a:
eBay told me I had to join if I wanted to keep offering consignment services in my listings. In their convoluted logic offering to list items on eBay is fee avoidance unless I joined their silly trading assistants program and displayed the logo.

It's amazing how fast and efficient eBay is at harrassing people if it makes them more money. But whenever we need help or file a complaint...it seems like we have to wait for all the planets to align before they do anything.. if at all.
Seriously, can anyone name a company that pulls in more money than eBay, is entirely internet based... but doesn't have a "Contact Us" link or Phone Number posted ANYWHERE on their website. It's almost funny how little help the website offers. Granted if they had an email they would get a million messages a day.. but they have the money to hire a small army of people to look into people's complaints and questions. They obviously have a bunch of people running around telling people they have to sign up for more services and such... god I hate eBay.
This is bordering on illegal activity as they are knowingly letting power sellers commit fraud because it makes them money. Phuck that!
