How has introduction of the Euro affected coin pricing of "Native" coins being replaced by the Euro?

    In many countries, such as Greece or Italy, the introduction of the euro created a new generation of collectors which resulted in a huge increase of the prices ,mostly the higher grade coins, as mentalities have changed and many new collectors now aim for unc examples from the start.
