I would really like a nice DCAM $10 gold from around the turn of the century. That would be so cool getting a super deep mirrored frosty coin.

Maybe later in life when I have the house paid off and can save up well into five or six figures for a coin will I consider a pre 1915 proof gold. I would definitely want a minimally hairlined gem too. Gold is so soft and hairlines so easily, that finding gems is a really tough task.

It would also have to be a little orange, green and crusty looking as well. I wouldn't want a piece that had obviously been conserved.

Yes, I'd love to have one. But they are just a bit pricey. I'd choose a DCAM $20 Lib. The matte proof gold doesn't do it for me.

I would like a DCAM $20 Liberty. They look incredible with those flashy gold mirrors witht the frosted gold devices. Sadly, it is very unlikely I will ever own such a coin.

I would like a pedigreed Eliasberg proof eagle. The 1875, a rare date, in the ANR sale would suit me just fine.

I presently own an 1874 G $1 NGC CAM 64, one of only 20 struck.

Although I am mainly a Morgan Dollar Collector, there is one coin that has always intrigued me and, as this is a thread for wishful thinking, I'd say my candidate is the 1907 Extremely High Relief proof St. Gaudens Double Eagle. I have seen one once and it is astoundingly beautiful.

Even though they're small, I like the cameo proof gold dollars. There are some dates that could be considered affordable, especially given their rarity. I don't anticipate purchasing one anytime soon, but I'm also on a hiatus from collecting.

My answer here is similar to the other question about adding PROOFs to my collection.

I am trying to concentrate on my type set, but if something cool came around, I would consider it.

I have a particular interest in Matte PROOF coins, they have a particularly interesting look to them.
