OK, I'll be the first to say it: I'm totally clueless about what's going on here. Anyone else?

Apparently one of the unsearched hoard slimeball sellers didn't like my listing and reported it:

I remember the mock sale on e-bay which exaggerated the scam sales using funny names.
was a great sale and I'm sure opened eyes of many.

Here's the description that was in the listing:

Fresh from the estate of the late Mrs. Watta Crock. Mrs. Crock and her (also late) sister Mrs. Thisisa Crock spent decades squirreling away old coins, filling up empty beer kegs, (they were heavy drinkers), and burying the kegs in their back yard.

After Mrs. Watta Crock passed on, a local developer discovered the buried kegs while excavating the property in preparation for the construction of a Starbucks. He was somewhat disappointed that the kegs were filled with old coins and not beer (also a heavy drinker). Dutifully, though, he passed on the ENORMOUS HOARD OF UNSEARCHED OLD US COINS to the Crock family's estate attorneys at the law firm of Dewey, Cheatum and Howe.

After extensive negotiations with Mrs. Watta Crock's lawyers at Dewey, Cheatum and Howe I was able to secure a small portion of this ENORMOUS HOARD OF UNSEARCHED OLD US COINS to bring to you here on eBay. To be precise, 1 1/2 pounds worth, or about 130 coins. YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU MAY FIND!

It's not even a violation. The morons at eBay apparently have never heard of the term "key date".

Sounds like you would have been fine if you included the word "date" after "key" or included a house, or car, key or something.
Then it wouldn't have been keyword spamming with the word "key" image

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

I think they are saying that there is Keyword spamming going on. " No key dates found"

is going to get people (if anyone does) search E-bay for "Key Date"

Like all the people who list no-name slabs, but have PCGS in the title somewhere to snag the PCGS serches.

"L@@K ms-69 Widget--- $5000 in PCGS MS-69!!!!!!!!!!!" of course coin is in XYZ slab

A while ago I tried selling money for an online game on ebay and they shut the auction down, told the winning bidder (who had already BIN'ed 30 minutes earlier) not to pay and wouldnt credit me the fees. Why? They said they and I were in risk of being sued by the company because I did not have permission to use the name.

So, using the word "key" in your auction title is "key word" spamming? That oddly makes sense to me.

Just relist it exactly the same except replace "no keys found" with "no rare dates found". They don't have a rule against "rare word" spamming.

And yet they let our fellow board member list ex: PCGS 66 for a coin that PCGS cracked and paid out on the guaranty.

I think Russ, you should have put in several old car keys with pics along with the coins. Re-list it and find some vintage old car keys to add.

Sad part is that several of us reported the "ex-PCGS" spamming to Ebay. I like the auction.
