Sorry to hear it. If any of the coins can be listed here, we forum members can be on the lookout for them.

We can try that, but if it's like most fleamarkets, there won't be anything you could exactly use as an identifier...
"Uh, yeah, Officer, there's a guy in my store with three dozen common date Morgans in Very Fine! I'll try to stall him here until you can make it, OK?"
In seriousness, that sucks. I hope they get their man, and quick.
A good reason to carry a .45 c00cked and locked on you at all times. Idiots have been robbing banks and little stores here killing people. I never plan on any problems but I'm able to respond to any threat, these scum bags want something for nothing. A CCW is a must in this day and age of drive by shootings and being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Dang spell checker didn't like one of my words....
mirabela---Slabbed coins have serial numbers. I doubt these guys are smart enough to crack them out before trying to sell them. Maybe goldude had his raw coins in holders labeled in a certain fashion making them identifiable. Obviously junk silver is hard to trace.

WOW Goldude!! At least you are alive! What a turn of sh#tty luck. Your car breaks down and you get mugged by some thugs who recognized you from the flea market?
I am very sorry to hear it. I must have been a harrowing experience.

Tyler (and others), I think he was "joking", though not in good taste, if that was the case. My sincere apologies if I am mistaken.
"The coin dealer, identified only as Roger to protect his identity, nearly lost his life on Monday after a day at the flea market. He was headed home on County Road 475 when his car broke down. Roger was looking under the hood when a vehicle carrying three men pulled up behind. One of the men walked up and Roger thought he was going to help out"
Without knowing more details it is a safe bet that the three people rigged the car to breakdown.....this is a common practice with thieves who follow dealers from shows.....
