Grading
I just got an Email stating that PCGS has received my 1928 Quarter Eagle for grading. The submission site says the turn-around is about 45 days. Is this accurate or are they playing it safe?

My 5 day took 3.
My last 15 day took about 10, my last economy took about 15.
I think they were expediting for some reason in June.

End of the quarter. Either that, or pushing them out in time for the set registry awards.

A 1928 2 1/2 is not a special issue.

I am new at this and I thought it was a fractional gold coin. I guess I have learned something new .
Thank you
I guess I will just wait and see.
Thank you all for your response.

The "fractional" refers to fraction of a dollar, for example this 25¢:

Like Russ said, it will be interesting to see how they work out the submission.
New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.
