Ike collectors...beware of seller: ikedollardeals.....you may

You may not get the coin that is in the picture!
(I sure didn't!)
New seller is running a stock photos of some nice looking Ikes and sending something else. Although, they
state that "THE COIN SHOWN IS THE COIN RECEIVED"
71-D BU Ike Dollar
Another 71-D.....
And another 71-D.......
Same pic. on all 3 auctions.
Most auctions run for 1 to 3 days.
Did some more looking and found the same thing going on for most of their Ike Auctions.....
'Found multiple Ike auctions from them with nice stock photos.....ALL promising "The coin shown is the coin received"
in BIG BOLD letters! The 72-D, 74-P, 74-D, 76-P, 73-S Blue and 74-S Blue all have multiple
past (and/or) present listings with identicle photos but the same claim that you will be getting the coin in the picture!
Is that considered fraud?
I have already filed a case at PayPal....but can do nothing on eBay (since it hasn't been 10 days yet)!
Meanwhile,.....they still go on......
Buyer beware!
Happy Hunting!

Yes!
Brian,
It's really hard to buy raw coins on ebay. Some sellers of raw coins do this over, and over.
However, this is one seller that I will remember !

Thanks for the link....I used it and just filed a claim.
Probably small potatoes for them, they might not mess with it. Maybe they'll at least
scare them enough to just be honest from now on.
Happy Hunting!

past auction links to prove my point. I got a FULL refund via PayPal yesterday (including s/h/i!
(No word from eBay yet)
I did have to think about it......but, I ended up giving ikedollardeals a negative.
I got the expected negative retaliation.....for trying to warn others
Oh well,........I'd do it again in a heartbeat!
Happy Collecting!
Brian
Looks like he negged you!
Sounds like you have a slander case now!
Suggest you go back to e-bay for that. Seems like they've already found in your favor.
Good Luck and thanks for the warning for everyone!
I sent him an e-bay e-mail asking why the coins looked exactly the same, and got no reply. Hopefully others have done so or will do so...sending a clear message that folks are watching him. He's on my blocked bidder list.

(How can all of your auctions have the same picture, and claim that the coin pictured is the on you get. I'm going to forward this to ebay)
probably wont help but what the hel.
the coin pictured?
Edited: Didn't realize the actual link in each auction displays the same file.
Its tough to say this guy was trying to defraud people by selling BU Ikes. Where they not BU?
how come you use the same pictures for all your nickels. I am telling on you!!!!!! Cause Gandjay is my friend!!!!!
They are not all the same picture. Why dont you go to the coin store and buy two oregon quarters. Then take a picture of each and let me know if you can tell the difference
Slander it is! I'll try with eBay, but 'won't hold my breath.
USC:....<<Were they BU?>> Not in my case,...not even close.
mcmxi,
That's pretty funny!
Happy Collecting!
