  • What happened Stiffy- did you get stiffed?

    Exactly what happened?

  • I didn't get stiffed. And, I am not sure if I should be offended at having my name taken in vain! image

Some other people got the ol' 'up your giggy with a wah wah brush and break it off,' though. I just want to make sure anyone here that needs the info gets it.

He was selling large quantities of gold (under spot, as I understand it) on ebay and not delivering it. I suspect he was stringing buyers along hoping the bottom would drop out on gold prices so he could fill all the orders.
He was a titanium power seller. His alleged victims are in shock. They refuse (from what I have read) to believe the money is probably gone. What a shame.

Right now, a bunch of ebayers are out a lot of money. I won't even hazard a guess how much.

    ‘I Deliver’

Randy Litton of Indian Trail, N.C., said he initially was reluctant to participate in IdealBullion’s auction.

But in January, Litton decided to bid on two five-gram gold bars.

Litton sent IdealBullion $1,037.94, but never received the gold bars. His attempts to recover his money have been unsuccessful, he said.

i want to sell 10 grams of gold for 1,000 dollars.
  • I understand the writer made an error in the article and the guy won ten, not two, 5 gram bars.

  • << <i>Though Rinehart declined to discuss complaints, he said he was what eBay calls a “power seller” in the “Titanium” category. That’s eBay’s highest designation and sellers must generate more than $150,000 in sales for three consecutive months to earn it. Titanium sellers also must maintain a positive customer feedback rating of at least 98 percent. >>

Some people have guessed that he has made off with as much as $400,000. He declared BK. What a sweetie.

I would hazzard a guess that a lot of people are either too embarrassed to do anything about their plight and have written it off or they do not know there is action being taken.
    Have a nice day
