It's not friction, it's frost fade. It's common on these and does necessarily prevent the DCAM designation.

The size and location of the spots is such that NCS could reduce them a bit. Assuming no hairlines, it could go as high as PR67 since they are on the reverse.

Are you talking about the spots on the bottom rim under the letters H & L and the R or the ones on the top of Left Wing?
