OK, forgive my ignorance. What am I missing? This card lists for $900 PSA 9 in SMR. I'm not a reigning expect on grading from different companies but have done enough reading recently to ask this stupid question. Is GEM mint that bad?

eddie, look at the card not the grade. Not only is it way (OC) but it has at least 1 shaved corner. PSA would give this GEM "evidtrim".

When it comes from a company besides PSA, BGS, SGC, or GAI, yes, gem mint is bad.

I've seen several cards from this company on eBay before, also graded "Gem Mint 10" and all of them were a JOKE! They had centering about like this one--way off, and would do well to make a PSA 6--if they would grade them at all--they are HIGHLY suspect to trimming or other flaws. I wouldn't touch one of their cards with a 10-foot pole!

That grading company is a joke! What kind of name is graded rookies anyway? They just don't grade rookies, and what they have graded is so far off scale. Does this company have a web site? I need to check them out to see what they have for a grading scale.
