Personally, I don't think it matters.

Even if one party is more "coin friendly" than the other, coin collecting doesn't even register as a public policy issue for me.

(I'm adhering to my theory that "Some special interest groups should just shut up!")

Personally, I don't think coins and politics mix very well.

Numismatics has the beautiful ability to unite many diverse, talented, intelligent people who might otherwise share little else in common. Neither party offers any real direct advantage to being a collector. So why then dwell on OT differences?

Whichever one is in office, because the one in office passes bills to create commems to sell to collectors inorder to fund their pet projects and bring money into the government coffers.

If this was his/her only redeeming quality? Then no. If this was just icing on their cake, then fine. There are far too many important issues IMHO, than to base a vote on my hobby.

Bear- I would! My father is a librarian, in fact the director of a multicounty library system. His office is here in the public library building.

Now, let's assume you are in the public library and you have to go potty. No woods around here, so you can't do the bear thing. (I hope you aren't one of those stupid Charmin bears, either).

Suppose you're me- would you use the public restroom in a library, or would you go use Dad's private restroom in the executive offices?

There you have it- I'll vote for a librarian potty anytime. Beats the heck out the public restroom.
