What kind of novelty item could the mint produce that might cause people to become fascinated by coi

I was thinking that if the mint produced coins with silver plugs, as was done with some early coins, more people might become interested in coins.
There are probably lots of interesting things that the mint could do in order to increase the public's appreciation of coins. Can you think of any?

Box of 20
Putting 3 coins and a medal in a box and selling it for $20 seems to be working

1.,= Continue to improve quality of all products not only numismatically but also artistically.
2.,= Produce and sell folders and albums for all circulating coins.
3.,= Provide collectors with cent and dime rolls at as low a price as practical.
They could do a couple of things to improve their business too, such as to continue to improve
their customer service and fix their software problems on their website.

These are good suggestions. Also, some forethought might be good too. Think of those L&C Pouches - not good for coins and anyone with a remote knowledge of the materials involved should have known from the start. Then there is the light-up Edison box that looks like it came from the Danbury Mint.

.......after the blowout with the new ladies on the $1 I would turn to our cent and roll out the famous NASCAR drivers....like Jimmie Johnson, Greg Biffle, Elliott Sadler .....after this huge hit....I would return the 10c to the greatest bands of all times....Beatles, Rolling Stones, U2, Grateful Dead, Velvet Underground etc........if you dont think that its time for some real serious changes then you will never get some great new designs on coins.......how bout using some great artists......think about a Peter Max heart coin! .... how about a Picasso Musketeer or a James Rizzi city painting....there are great ideas out there......sorry to say that no one seems to have the balls to try to put them on a coin.......

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
I am a big fan of the state quarter program, but a lot of the designs and/or executions are REALLY CRUMMY !!!!!! Just like the rest of our tired, boring circulating coinage. Oh well. Back to my REAL coins ...
