I dig the reverse details on your 1807, lordmarcovan. My 1807 has ~G4 details unfortunately.

I got that baby for fifty bucks offa BST.

As you can see by lookin' in the lower left corner of my overused, crummy picture, it's a considerable upgrade from the 1806 I had on the vest.

I got this quarter at about the same time.

Now I have an extra Draped half and TWO extra Draped quarters. Woe is me.

... but still no Bust dollar. Yet.

I need to get me one, now that I am collecting holey (Capped) Bust halves by date. (Not by die variety, but the Overton would still be cool to have.)

Here's one off my hat.

Sadly, it looks like some chucklehead tried to remove a counterstamp from the obverse of the coin. This is a much bigger tragedy than the hole. (Which is of course no tragedy at all, if you're into Holey Lovin'.)

How 'bout some holey ancient gold with an Eliasberg pedigree, eh?

4.27 grams, 20.40 mm. Obv Helmeted, cuirassed bust three-quarters facing of Zeno, holding spear and decorated shield. Rev Victory standing l., holding long cross, two stars in field. A scarcer issue. Scratched in right obverse field and holed, otherwise Choice VF. >>

A friend won that for me recently. I still gotta pay him for it. It'll be the new centerpiece of my hat.

Please don't tell me you put 'em in 2 X 2's or flips in an album. *yawn*

You at least have a nice board to hang 'em on or somethin', yes?

Excuse the fact that it's a scan, but here's a set of coins on a crude bracelet strung with a piece of contemporary string. (It was a family heirloom which was passed down as it is now that I purchased)

The office in my home has over 1000 hooks on it

The rest are massed in small wooden boxes.

It is mandatory that you post a picture of that, as well.

One of these days I will post pics of the vest, when I get it reassembled. (It's been in a state of flux since FUN 2004, which is the last time I wore it.))

These used to make me cringe, but now I think I can appreciate the history of these as love tokens, gifts, etc.
