1909-S ...... VDB? Need your opinion please!

This is probably the worst condition coin you could ever have image

Do you think this is an 09-S VDB? I can safely say it's 09-S image
I really hope I didn't do bad for $1.50 image

Is this a good one to send to ANACS? Or is it too horrible for ANACS? imageimage

It's corroded. Don't know if they'll grade it or not.

I remember my first ANACS submission...2 bodybags.

A coin has to be pretty bad to get bodybagged by ANACS. I believe they won't slab something with PVC damage.

They may be able to authenticate it which would give it some value as a filler for someone's album.

Do I see the "S"... Yes

    Do I see the V.D.B. ... No

That just may be the most heavily circulated penny I've ever seen. image

    That beauty looks dug.

No doubt about the "S", but I dunno on the VDB.

    ANACS might holder it.

Collector since 1976. On the CU forums here since 2001.

I don't believe the S is in the right position to be an SVDB.

Hmmm....to each their own, and I could understand if you found it metal detecting or something, but I can't see buying it....
I mean absolutely no offense on this, but "why"?
Wear is one thing, corrosion on something not before 1800 is another.....too many that aren't corroded and are available.

    Glad you like it though....

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

The 09S VDB is so overpriced, I think it's fine aquisition. I mean who's going to fake that thing (coin)--so why shouldn't ANACS give it the coveted net PO-.05 grade!image
