Hey, Hey, just got back from the mail box and whoopie. My newest addition just arrived. Question, how would you determine if it had a repunched date. It looks normal thru my loup. Probably just a common.

The 1858 Over inverted date is pretty easily to tell as you can the the remining raised lines from the loop between the digits. Look at the redbook page 125. The repunched I hear is pretty easily to detect aswell, but I have not seen one myself, so hopefully one of the seated half dime folks will comment.

I cherried a 1858 over inverted Half dime a few weeks ago out of dealers case! Although, when I listed it on the bay, thier didnt seem to be much intrest in it. I ended up selling it to a local club member/dealer.
