I'm going to the Denver Mint next week.

Any suggestions on what to look for or do? Any thing I should look for in the gift shop? What is a "souvenir set"? Any good coin shops in Denver?

Apropos of the coin posse/aka caca: "The longer he spoke of his honor, the tighter I held to my purse."
You'll have to ask about souvenier sets but I do not think they sell them any longer.
Last time I was there I picked up a cool coffee mug so either take a credit card or a lots of cash and have fun!
Edited to add: Rocky Mountain Coin is on Broadway and they are always very pleasant to deal with. Lots of graded stuff and raw stuff. If your into toy trains there is also a very big Hobby shop just up the street from RMC called Caboose Hobbies. They have an astounding selection of trains to drool over.
The Unsinkable Molly brown house is pretty close to the mint and the State Capital is right up street and they have information available on items of interest in the city.
The name is LEE!

If I was smart I would have cherry picked a bunch of SMS cameos while I was there!!
