From the blade: "In 2002, the governor is believed to have played golf with Tom Noe, who invested in coins for the state. It is unclear if Mr. Taft paid for those golf outings."

In that case, it is unclear what the big deal is.

Mr. Republican Robert A. Taft is a man that had integrity and I have the greatest amount of respect for him even though I disagree with him politically. As for Governor Taft, I would not want to believe that he could be involved in much matters, but I have not followed this. Frankly, I would never want to explain this problem to my father or grandfather.

    And ?
  • Ohio is a cess pool, although I have trouble believing Taft is involved.

Ohio was a cesspool long before Taft was even born.
