Counterfeit coin help requested

What appears to be an altered 1944-D sold as 1914-d No response from email to seller, reported to ebay. I realize these are common, but this is a blantant example...

Nope. After no response from seller or ebay, I've emailed the high bidder. It is really frustrating when ebay doesn't take action on a reported counterfeit coin. I don't expect ebay to have tons of coin experts around, but one would think they would fear the secret service-aiding and abetting counterfeiting and all.
