Is it true that you can't beat 9colors in an ebay auction?

I always heard he begins with a tiny opening bid, but come crunch time, all hell breaks loose and you can't beat him without waaaay overpaying? Does this match up with any other's experience?
If so, he's bidding on a coin he is certainly going to have to pay for.

The guy has a great eye! A lot of those coins are the same ones on my watchlist.

Which coin are you referring to?

The only way you can find out is to bid $10,000 on an 82 CC Morgan
I've always thought jokutpa was really hard to beat... but that's me.

One of those is me. This bidder is the real deal.

That may be fine for oneself, but, it shouldn't be used to put a shadow on others....
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
You hit the nail right on the head!! Its tough to get beaten up all the time with the same accusations over and over again. The only thing that we coin dealers have is our reputations and to have them tarnished unjustly is a travesty. Like I always said if you are in an insane asylum, how do you convince someone that you don't deserve to be there?
Oh, btw, MrD, my MO is in the mail

How do parties on eBay get "private" feedback ratings?
Doesn't this defeat the whole purpose of feedback?
As a seller don't you want to know something about the parties bidding on your auctions?

The only thing I want to know is how quickly payment arrives.

Bids on coins of all grades, from all countries, also will bid on medals and such... pretty much bids on anything, but only ONLY from one seller
Must be one heck of a seller!

I have similar buying habits from some sellers. Doesn't mean he's a shill. (Not implying that you thought he was) For instance, I'd bid on pretty much anything that braddick is selling (Not that I do).
