Jeez, the catolog now might be getting up near the price of that piece then. Hang onto it! In 1970 or 71 my little brother and I (10 years old) were helping my dad put stuff in my grandfathers attic and we found a 13 coin cache of Morgans. He each let us keep one coin and gave the rest away to my cousins... Oh Well image

I have found many things in the walls I have torn apart once I found an old pile of obscene comics from the 1930's.I have also found some nicely toned shield nickles.

You had better hope that none of the persons connected to the real estate corp that owns the property that you are tearing down are forum members.

So what's the big deal? The typical unc double eagle was about $60 then too. It is very misleading to try and compare prices from different eras because a 1966 dollar is not the same thing as a 2005 dollar.
