Can you take nice pictures of coins with a cell phone camera?

  I've seen some coins on eBay that looked like they were photographed with a cell phone.

  I did before, but you won't get very detail picture.

  If my wife's cam/phone is any indication, I don't think you can take a nice picture of ANYTHING with it.

  Why even bother since digital cameras are dropping down in price so much you'll soon be seeing them in Craker Jack boxes as prizes.
  My son just got an outdated model at a place called Office Max for $29. Of course he works there so that helped.
