My Father's Day newp (modern gold commem) ... I couldn't resist

My son (notlogical) and I went to a local coin show on Father's day to celebrate and have some father son time together. He had just made $50+ selling hotdogs, chocolate chip cookies and lemonade at our garage sale so he wanted to get something to treat himself for all of his hard work.
Anyway, on the way out I stopped at a table and saw this.
I really have never thought about modern gold commemoratives before but I got it for a little below melt. I couldn't resist and besides it was Father's Day! I just hope it doesn't start something new with me.
If anyone collects modern gold commemoratives I'd appreciate hearing your thoughts on the series. Thanks!
