2 lamps or 4 lamps?

I see many excellent photographs posted here. How many of you use 2 lamps and how many of you use 4 lamps?

I typically use two initially--sometimes I'll add a third or fourth to get a little more lustre and/or color out.

Either one or two, depending on the desired results and the surfaces of the coin.

I usually use 2 or 4 - most of the time 2 gets it done for me, but sometimes the
extra light helps brighten a dark area along the rim.
