anyone gotten Economy grades lately?... and how long did your submission take?

Just getting antsy on my 5/02 invoice and was curious what's been coming out of the pipeline lately.

My last economy that posted was received 4.23 with results on 6.07.

My latest economy was a 5/05.... I am getting antsy too...Also got a FREEBIE that went in on 5/23.....

I've got an economy submission that was enterd on 5-2-05 also. Haven't seen anything on it yet. Dennis, Is your PO1/Fr02 - 89CC $1 in that economy submission? Later, CCG

I returned the 1889-CC to the seller.

Despite having asked, "does this coin show any evidence of having been cleaned, or does it have any damage such as large scratches or graffiti" before I bid -- to which he replied that it was original and problem-free -- in my opinion it had clearly been cleaned, and had heavy and abrasive scratching on the reverse.

I hate when that happens!! By the way, I'm killing the pop reports on 83CC $1. I've got one thats come back twice as a FR02. (Not the one currently shown in my low grade set) Its worse than any of my other CC $1's and worse than your 93. I've cracked it out and sent it in again. I'm saving all the tags to send in and correct the pop reports when it finally comes back a PO01 (hopefully).

My last Economy submission: received 04/14/05, posted 06/07/05. 54 calendar days toe-tapping. BTW, the PCGS customer service guy told me even Economy submissions are based on business days. This was news to me!

He's wrong - which is nothing new.

Near as I can tell, PCGS wants "Liberty" to be all or mostly obliterated in order to give the Poor-01 grade to Morgans.

But what I really think is, they don't actually know or care about the difference between 01 and 02.

Well, If they are counting calendar days, then the submissions entered on 5-02 and 5-03 are well beyond 38 calendar days. seems like there is a disconnect here.

There's always been a disconnect between the estimate and reality. Some get done sooner, some get done later - much later.
