Taking a good look at the coin with the DjVu image, it sure looks like a 63 that was bumped for the color. The consignor is dreaming.

Some stiff reserves also showed up on some Rainbow toned Morgans at a Long Beach auction. I agree, too much for that example in that grade.

Eric,I have seen that coin in hand and offered 1200.The seller didnt accept.Its a legit 64,but with NO shot at a 65.The consignor thinks more of the coin than we do i guess.

I have paid almost 5000 for a monster toned common date,but certainly NOT in a 64 holder.Actually,not in a 65 holder either.
