Is the mint out of Proof sets and Nickel and Medal sets?

I ordered them yesterday and it says that they are backordered until June 14. Why are they backordered??

Also, when i ordered it they gave me an order number and when i go into it, it shows my order, but i did not recieve an e-mail confirmation. Did i do something wrong when i ordered it or are they just all sold out??? Thanks in advance!

    not sold out until it says "Item is not available" on the Web Site....which I am willing to bet will be within a week

    If I'm not mistaken, when I went to the Philly mint two weeks ago, they did not have any proof sets in their gift shop. I only asked about the "souvenir" sets (mint seta) and they said they had produced the coins for those yet.


    Perhaps they have to assemble or strike more sets to satisfy recent orders?
