Why is it that this looks just a little to good to be true. Although not a bad potential profit in a little over 2 weeks.

    No such thing as a raw "MS68". Not to me, anyway.

    Collector since 1976. On the CU forums here since 2001.

    Reminds me of the "MS-67" I bought back in the 70's from (dealer name omitted, but no longer in business) which came back from ANA as AU-55 image

    At least the jerk refunded my money (after telling me that I was a fool for listening to "technicians") image

    I love how, in order to return after submitting to PCGS, it has to stay in the slab image

    I would agree lordmarcovan. The chances of finding a raw ms68 are probably great then the lottery. And seeing where the coin was purchased from, the odds grow even higher. Does have a return policy though. Way to many red flags there.

    Very unlikely to grade above MS64 imo....and a 65 would be tops.
    A raw MS68 on ebay? Forget it. Based on the April 2005 pop report PCGS has never assigned a 68 grade to a 1917 quarter of either type. This would be the first? Right! Can you say scum?

    I guess you see he bought it raw as a 66 about 3 weeks ago for $700. It looks like he's using his "IMAGINEERING" here.

    Whats with the weird coloration on several photos, this almost looks like he photographed 2 diff coins... ;-0 cm

    2 of the photos are from the original auction, 1st and 8th. Who also has another 1917 T1 MS65 FH up auction with what look like the same picture again, just lightened up a bit. The other pictures look to be ones the current seller took using bad lighting and bad photo editing skills giving the coin a real yellow washed out look to it.
