1921-D VAM guys - Any idea which one this is?

    It's not listed in Rob Joyce's 1921-D book. It may be new... or the die cracks didn't develop into die breaks so it didn't get a specific VAM designation. I'll look through the updates of the VAM book.

    There are no uniquely identifying large die breaks, gouges, raised metal dots or or other obviously visible identifying characteristics. It appears that the tops of the 1's in the date are doubled, which might make it a VAM 2. The coin would really need to be examined "in hand" to determine the exact VAM number. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. Good luck.
