I don't get it. A quick check of this seller's auctions makes it glaringly obvious that he's using borrowed pics since the imaging methods are all over the map. Yet, you bid anyway? I understand taking a flyer from time to time, since I do it myself. But, I like to see at least some small chance of a score. In this case, the odds were clearly zero.
All the seller HAS to do is deliver what is in the item heading. Nowhere in ebay rules does it say that you will get the item pictured unless so stated in the item heading or description. The seller can send you a shiney 18xx morgan and be within the "rules".

They do strongly encourage use of an actual image for coins, though. This is what appears right before a seller clicks the submit listing button:
<< <i>eBay strongly recommends that sellers include all relevant information known about the coin or paper money, including any alterations the seller believes may have been made to the item, and include a clear scanned image of the actual item. >>
slimebag SHOULD be busted/NARU. no question. despite the 'disclaimer', ebay will bust this slimebag in a NY minute. maybe not for a 'power scammer' but for this guy.........done. deserved NARU, make it so. TheDoctor.

he sold the same coin to "jacheste" , with "buy it now" under $15 ................. email him..........see what he got!
in the last 8 sales he's made 5 or 6 were with stolen pictures!
That's just a representative coin of either the year or the type. Your coin will be similar in date or just that it's a Morgan.
You can buy 5 Franklin's in his other auction, but I doubt any will look like this

Nowhere does he mention the quality except to stick "very good" in the middle of the description. Let's hope they are not literally "VG"!
What a turd...
Chicolini: Mint? No, no, I no like a mint. Uh - what other flavor you got?
