Prices are set by supply and demand and I really don't know what the level is
on these at the current time. The 2005 issues are uniquely interesting since
they apparently will not be appearing in mint sets. Those already issued to
date may be especially interesting since people ignored them while waiting for
the mint sets to find gems.
People never learn. Those few who have been doing the work are likely to
reap the rewards. This may be a window of opportunity which stays open for
a while.

No. Quite the opposite, the value will go down - substantially. You should buy them if you like them and they bring you collecting pleasure, not because you want to sell them later at a profit.

He's asking about already slabbed coins. The purchase of same is not the most suitable path to the acquisition of adequate profit.

<< <i>wow.. you mean no quarters in mint sets >>
The mint has implied that the mint set quarters will be distinct from the circulation issues.
I believe these go on sale next week so then we'll know. If true some of the circulation
strike coins in the future will be very scarce even in MS-65.

The profit GURU has spoken.
<< <i>yeah this is a already slabbed coin... on sale at ebay. I am actually looking to accuire for the reason of set registry... I am not very concerened about a profit.. however I do like my collection to hold value... >>
People will pay more for the registry coins. Known fact.
As Russ said, expect the cost of such coin to go down though.
If you want to be top dog, first on the block, then you pay the price. I don't know how many of these "top pop" state quarters have gotten more expensive in the last few years, but I know a lot of them did descrease.
I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
I know it has saved me hassels.

This looks very fishy. I wouldn't touch this auction with a ten foot pole. Save yourself. You will be happy you didn't bid on it

Yeah, but only nine total have been graded.

my reseach this is all since 1999 that has ever been graded ms69...... does that really mean that either mint has significantly improved striking process or this is as rare quarter as other & woth having in a collection
Yes, state quarters are tough in MS69. But, you can bet the early buyers of these wish they would have waited a bit:
<< <i>14006 2002-P OH 25C Ohio MS ****40

With only a total of nine graded for this issue and an MS69 already made, it is highly likely that more will follow. If your desire is to own some MS69 examples, why not hunt for the years that have a track record and the price stability that comes with that?

I don't believe there are any (or at least more than a few) older clad quarters
which have graded this high. Mint set quality has been improving and perhaps
more importantly the odds of circulation issue gems being set aside are going up.
One thing is certain and that is an MS-69 circulation issue is an incredible fluke
and may not happen again. Though it should be remembered that these are
mass produced so it's not impossible that significant numbers can turn up.
