Finished my 2001 Silver Bullion Set Today

I just received the final (at least what I believe is the final) coin for my 2001 world bullion 1 ounce silver set today from Australia. In total 23 coins. They had to be intended as bullion issues, and part of a series. They could not be a single year commomerative. They had to list silver content and contain one troy ounce. Bu and proof versions are included.

The List:
United States: BU Silver Eagle; Proof Silver Eagle
Canada: BU Maple Leaf; Lunar Maple Leaf; Colored Maple Leaf; Hologram Maple Leaf
Great Britian: BU Britannia; Proof Britannia
Australia: BU Kookaburra; Proof Kookaburra; BU Kangaroo; Proof Kangaroo; BU Lunar Snake; Proof Lunar Snake
Isle of Man: Proof Somali Cat
Gibraltar: Proof Cherub
Mexico: BU Libertad; Proof Libertad
Somalia: Proof Monkey
Zambia: BU Elephant; Proof Elephant
China: BU Panda; BU Panda "D" mintmark

I haven't decided how I will display the set, if at all, since I would have to remove some of the coins from the original packaging. I might make a plexiglass fram for the set and hang them together on the wall, each in individual air-tites, of course.

Oh, if I have missed any that you think that I should include, please feel free to point them out.

Sounds like a great collection! 23 coins will be hard to display in 1 group. I know that you can special order wood presentation cases made for air-tites were you specify the size and placement of the cutouts but 23 1-ounce coins might be too much for a single case.

Almost all of my coins came from eBay.

The most expensive coin was the proof Britannia. It cost about $49. However, they are very common on eBay and routinely sell for that price.
The Proof Kangaroo I stole on eBay for only $16.56! It came complete with all packaging and was only a dollar more than the BU version I have. drjules is correct that the early dates are not as common on eBay.
The second most expensive was the hologram maple. $47.66. Again a common coin on eBay that usually goes for about that price.

The least common two coins, I think, are the proof Libertad and proof Elephant. The Libertad I bought from an off eBay dealer that has been mentioned on the boards before that specializes in Mexican Silver. The Libertad cost $35. The first one that I saw on eBay as an individual coin was put up last month and went for about $70.
The Proof elephant I have only seen on eBay once or twice and was very surprised to see it as I did not know that it existed. I had thought that the only version was a matte style. It cost $27.87.

The final coin was a proof Australian Snake. I was waiting to get one for a good price and won it last week direct from Australia for $38 after shipping.

All together the set cost me $500 to assemble.
