I cant quite figure that one out. It does have a quite a few marks, but I don't know if it has MS61 marks. Some other guesses might be an barely noticeable cleaning, or it could just be a REAL nice AU (some trace of wear somewhere hard to identify) that the rewarded with an MS designation.
Thanks everyone for your comments on this coin. I really thought this one would get a 62 or even a 63. I thought 62 because of the key date, but if it was a common coin it would be a 63.

If it weren't so valuable in the higher grades I would keep it just for the grade on the slab. You just don't see that many 61's.
Probably would be worth a try on regrade.
