I think they will go quickly but not nearly as fast as the first WJ Set. The mint is limiting orders to 5 per order or household so-o-o-o-o, the big time dealers are gonna either enlist the entire family reunion or only get 5 sets.

Me?, I'll order five just to see what happenes to them.

Wasn't the 1st Westward Journey set limited to 30,000 sets which disappeared in a little under an hour?

I'm getting at least 10, hopefully more
I think they'll be a quick sellout just not as quick
    as last year.

Because they contain the "Buffalo" nickel they will probably sell out...but not right away.

Well of course they'll sell out. They won't last a week.

You'll have to wait until after June 7th to get an additional 5 sets as noted below:

<< <i>Please Note: Orders for this product will be limited to 5 units per order and 5 units per household. On sale date is May 25, 2005; product will be available for shipping on June 10, 2005. On June 7, if product is still available, the order limits will be lifted. >>

I take this to mean that you can order 5 units but your spouse cannot. You'll have to get "Uncle Bob" to order them for you as I seriously doubt that any will be available on June 7th. image My prediction is that the sets will sell out on or before May 27th.

Now where is Uncle Bob's number? image

A 2004 set just sold on eBay for $24.06. With the 2005 costing $19.95 and a far greater mintage I don't see much upside potential.

2005 Westward Journey Nickel Series™ Coin and Medal Set (6C3)

To complement this silver-plated medal, the United States Mint has added a 2005-dated proof Golden Dollar,

Completing this set are the "2005-dated five-cent coins"struck for the second year of the Westward Journey Nickel Series™

Doesn't say whether they are Proof or Unc.

Maybe they will be the new "Satin"(Matte)Finish or better yet the "Old Unc finish" which would make them highly collectable.image
We will have to wait and see.I am ordering 5 sets.

Sets were selling for as much as $80 a couple of months after sell out. Short term is where it is. They will sell out in a day IMO. I plan to order 15.
I heard they were making a French version of Medal of Honor. I wonder how many hotkeys it'll have for "surrender."
