1921-D JOH-10 Morgan dollar question

I mentioned in this thread that I recently picked up a 21-D JOH-10 Morgan. My question... why didn't this get a VAM assignment? I thought the raised area over the D in UNITED would be enough. It looks like a die break or chip and can be seen with the naked eye. My coin may be a slightly later die state than pictured in Rob's book. It's also very circulated.

I think that one eventually did get assigned a new VAM number -- 1AM, maybe?

John is correct, I believe it is now VAM 1AM, an R-6 rated coin.

Thanks folks. The description of the 1AM seems to match. No photos in the VAM updates. Hopefully Ash's site will come up again and maybe I'll find a photo for verification.
