Comment on the Goldberg's Long Beach Catalog

LongacreLongacre Posts: 16,717 ✭✭✭
I have been traveling for a few days, and when I got home, there was a package on my doorstep. I did my best commando diversion tactic as I slipped the box into the house, lest my wife find out that I bought another coin. I breathed a sigh of relief when the contents only contained the Goldberg catalog. I have to say that these guys are really "stepping up" with the catalogs. I looked at it quickly, and it is in full color and the pictures look pretty good. I have not read any of the descripitons of the coins yet, though. Did anyone else get this catalog and what do you think?

    Mike,

You have the wrong strategy. I tell my wife all the packages are catalogs--whether they are or not. image The commando tactics are only required to sneak a slab or two upstairs in one's pocket. Sometimes, I have to create a small diversion: "Jack, would you please stop beating your sister's head with that hammer!" image

My wife actually inquired, "how much do all of these huge catalogs cost?" To that I responded, "how much do all of your Tiffany catalogs cost you?"

It is a nice catalog. This got to me to go to their site, and check my bids already submitted, but I can't find a bid summary, and I didn't write them down. They were low, just to mark those of interest as the deadline gets closer, but am I missing the link for a personal bid summary? Thanks, and thanks for the useful wife avoidance techniques.
