Anyone having trouble signing into Heritage "My Bids" today?

Hi -- Just wondering if I'm the only one unable to access this feature on HNAI tonight. I give it my password, and get returned to the HNAI home page. Weird. I went the roundabout way (view current auctions) to check on the lot I had in mind, and it looks like my bid won -- but it would be a nice thing to be able to pay...

Meanwhile, I'm already salivating at the thought of me & my little hammer, bashing the new arrival out of its plastic straightjacket -- funny what a few crackouts can do.

Huh. I wonder if this had any effect on closing prices?

I wouldn't have expected my particular lot to go any higher in any case, and it reached my max bid yesterday -- but were I a seller in this auction I might be pretty upset.

Lately I've been thinking about all the minutiae that can affect patterns of closing prices in various auction venues -- like those $100 coupons that seem to be sending bids on TT all out of whack this month. Something to ponder.

Yes, I thought maybe I was barred for some reason. Glad to hear it's not just me. Well, you know what I mean. dizzyfoxx

I got a bid in this morning for a coin for my type set and was the highest bidder. I checked later and couldn't access any MyHeritage features. Parts of the web site recognized I was logged in and others didn't. I'm just curious if Heritage will honor my high bid on this particular coin. It's fairly priced (according to retail price guides) as it is but I do know a similar coin & grade went for much higher just a few weeks ago. I guess I'll know if I get a billing notice. . .

It's not just the "my bids" part. I tried to get the final figure off "my invoices" cause I can't find my bill to pay for a Sign. Sale--Didn't work. I don't want to hear from them about what I owe, although I've just gotten a spurious Email on my bill without any Heritage logo and asking to look at the attactment. I hope they're offline to protect us from these bogus Emails and attachments.

I sent them a nasty-gram awhile back about slow shipping from the CSNS auctions and I thought that I got my reply today when I could not log into their website.image I guess I will find out later if I am still a member.

I did get my notice stating I was the high bidder for the auction I bid on, so I guess they will honor it. Now if I can just get in to pay for it?

We regret that during the afternoon and evening of Sunday, May 22, 2005, an unexpected technical problem made portions of our web sites inaccessible - MyBids, MyWantlist, MyCollection, the auction archives, etc.

This problem did not affect bidding itself, and we received many bids from the search results batch bidding page and the individual item pages. However, we recognize that some clients were hampered in placing bids, and I encourage you to contact me personally if you had problems, so that we can track your bidding attempts through our web logs.
    Sincerely,

    Stewart Huckaby

Yeah, I got one of those emails offering a $50 dollar coupon. That may force me to bid on one of their auctions.

Got one of those also. Wonder what the "Catch" will be? Must spend $500 to use the $50?
