Well, maybe I don't know the most about coins, and maybe I sometimes can't think of interesting things to post, perhaps this thread is one of them -- but I learn alot on this forum. I come here to have a good time, and I never knew I was hated so much. I just got a PM from airplanenut, whom, I thought was my friend. I've talked to him the past, no problems. Other people calling me trolls, mainly the older people whove been around since I have a year ago. It really makes you just want to quit, but I'm not going to leave, I'm going to continue to come to this forum and learn.

You come here to learn and have a good time, then stop whining. And we don't want to know what's in your PM's!
<< <i>For the record, GCL sent me a PM, and all I did was reply honestly. >>
JK, you don't need to defend yourself against GCL.
<< <i>Well I for one am happy to see you back. Hope you had a good year at school. Quite frankly I did find Dorkgirl's comments to be mean spirited and I think she and the others who picked up her mantra owe you an apology. >>
Whatever.
This is a coin forum, not a bleeding therapy session.

Give em Hell GCL!!
Don't quit this board cause a few self appointed BBS Overlords that espouse their vitriol at those users they think are beneath them. Those high and mighty board veterans aren't as kind to those of us that don't have that secret decoder ring of the lame in crowd. <===== You know who you are.
I too came here to learn and maybe ask a question or two. However, I too have seen the condescending attitude of those trolls that think they are of the Holy Numismatic Knowledge. Whoa....Better stop now or the mIghty St. G*****N will threaten to through me off the board again.
Anyway..Back to coins... I saw a post with regards to the amount of Mint Roll Bisons Nickels being around the 600k level. Where did this number come from? How does this compare to the Peace Medal and Keelboat Nickels? I've seen a few different auctions on Ebay that have gone for fairly decent money dependent on Date. Those being 2-19 and Below and 3-1. I know the Febs have the early "first strikes" but why the 3-1?
In closing questions, comments or problems with my post(s) please PM me.
Regards,
-Tom

i think its 600 mill..... just thought i'd clarify
Well I showed a few $20 gold pieces to my mother and sister in law the other day and already it caused friction between us, my mother insist that I should give them to her baby grand child (I never considered it since I am the only numismatist in the family and know its true worth), my sister in law now thinks that I was giving it to her baby son but my mother has kept it instead. A baby has no need for a historical gold coin. I aint rich and certainly not in the business of giving ounces of gold away when I recieve so little in return from anybody. Do I care?
If you like I am quite prepared to lift you off your curse.....

Not as hard as adding a 'D' mint mark to that '27 Saint...

Cry baby cry
Make your mother sigh
She's old enough to know better.
The king of Marigold was in the kitchen
Cooking breakfast for the queen
The queen was in the parlour
Playing piano for the children of the king.
Cry baby cry
Make your mother sigh
She's old enough to know better
So cry baby cry.
The king was in the garden
Picking flowers for a friend who came to play
The queen was in the playroom
Painting pictures for the childrens holiday.
Cry baby cry
Make your mother sigh
She's old enough to know better
So cry baby cry.
The duchess of Kircaldy always smiling
And arriving late for tea
The duke was having problems
With a message at the local bird and bee.
Cry baby cry
Make your mother sigh
She's old enough to know better
So cry baby cry.
At twelve o'clock a meeting round the table
For a seance in the dark
With voices out of nowhere
Put on specially by the children for a lark.
Cry baby cry
Make your mother sigh
She's old enough to know better
So cry baby cry cry cry cry baby
Make your mother sigh.
She's old enough to know better
Cry baby cry
cry cry cry
Make your mother sigh
She's old enough to know better
So cry baby cry.
