do those look like ANR pictures to anyone else?

It's funny that he knows nothing about coins, yet he has a 14-d up for auction and he's going off the handle about BU.
A 1943 copper Lincoln will still only buy a gumball out of the machine, but you can purchase the machine and the store with that same cent.

Feel free to contact me with any questions unrelated to the condition and value of this coin, as I can help you with those.

In other words he can discuss open heart surgery with you or the price of pork belly futures in Shanghai, but he knows nothing about the 89cc Morgan he has prepackaged for the successful bidder.

I agree with NESVT. The sellers" purported pictures don't look like photographs to me. They look like well executed drawings. I would bid in a second but the shippings costs -now there is a money maker- Don /the mademan

I sent an email to eBay with a link to the original auction.
Not sure if this newbie did it right.... so if anyone can report it, please do.

Your links don't work. What site did you find the picture on?

Edit: never mind I found it.

    GOOD JOB Dukie!! image

nesvt's auction link worked ok for me. You just have to scroll down the page a little.

I will try to edit in a link to report the fraud to eBay Security Center shortly. EBay Reporting Link - Log in and hit "E-Mail" on this page

Here is my report if someone wants to copy and paste it into their eBay report:

    Item Number: 3976148834

The eBay seller rscamaro92 of the auction above, has stolen these images for his auction from the Goldberg Longbeach Auction Sale at this website address:
http://216.67.248.212/cgi-bin/viewtop.pl?site=1&sale=28 (Scroll down to Lot 1962 Key Date 1889-CC Morgan Dollar. NGC graded MS-65.)
He is attempting to defraud other eBay members with his fraudulent listing and perhaps other items he has up for sale.
The Goldberg Auction estimates the value of their item at $175,000.00 to $200,000.00.
Please remove this listing and suspend this seller to make eBay a safer place for other members to transact.
    Thank You

Got another E-Mail when I asked him to post a real picture of the coin!!!

<< <i>No, I will not. I have removed the item from eBay because I received a higher offer from a friend who knew the item was for sale. I find it very offending that someone would accue me of such a thing. However, money is money, and if you would liketo bid on another of my coins that is fine. I have an excellent collection, and will be liting more coins shortly. >>

I wonder if the 14d is in his possession?

Knows nothing about coins but has an excellent collection?

image Another scammer gone, but he'll pop up again or one like him. I wonder how many people have been scammed or better yet how many $'s have been lost to scams on ebay?? I thought ebay was monitoring the listings better now?

On April 28th he sold a 1914-s wheat that looks G and said this coin is in better condition than all the others he has! Later he sells a BU CC Dollar? Is it possible he sold a few small items to get his ratings up and will pull one big final imagescam?
