Snipe question

Do snipe programs work for Ebay BIN? For instance, there is no BIN and no bids. You put in a snipe for $30 and ask the seller to put up a BIN for $25...... Will the snipe program work. I just started using auctionsniper.com. Thanks.

I don't understand -- why would one snipe a BIN auction? Just BIN it.

I think I know why he's asking. If the seller adds the BIN when he's not around a computer, somebody else may snatch it. It happened to me on a 1966 SMS set. Seller added the BIN after I went home for the evening and when I came in the next morning, somebody else had grabbed the set.

So, in your case, Russ, it was a BIL (Buy it later) only you didn't! image

Well you simply have the seller end the auction or email you immediately after adding the BIN. Snipe programs are designed to place your bid very near the auction end, not in the middle.
