I saw a similar photo they had for another high dollar coin a few days ago...You would think they would at least look at the photos before posting them....

I wrote an Email to jim Halperin about the bad pics and got back: blah blah 5000 images a week, blah, fine line - don't want images to look "too good", IT deptartment working on it blah blah. Not really a very convincing answer.

The coin's only starting at $69k... come on... I usually won't try to take a decent picture unless the coin's starting at a whopping $.99... and even then it might not go much further, but it gets its picture!

My response is that I will never again make a serious bid on a Heritage coin unless I have personally viewed it (or a trusted rep has). I would consider bidding on an ANR auction coin sight unseen, however.

Typical complacent attitude of a bloated corporation with a leading market share.

Question about heritage and their pics.....

Are their ebay pics notably darked for copper coins than the coin is when you get it inhand?
Also, they state 7 day return policy....are they easy to work with if the coin sucks in hand since the pics suck?

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
