My new "Pocket Piece" key chain... What do you think?

anablepanablep Posts: 5,039 ✭✭✭✭✭
Bought this in Durango, CO a couple of weeks ago while on vacation. Its a spur & leather key chain with a 1935 WLH mounted to it. The spur even spins!

The store had all kinds of leather products with coins attacted: belts, suspenders, key chains, etc. One belt had about 8 1921 Morgan dollars on it and sold for $400. Too pricey for me though.

Shouldn't a key chain contain a key coin?

I still like it, though image

Think it's unique and fun. The place of purchase sounds like an interesting store. Could you furnish name/phone # of store?image

KUCH: I'll try to find the name for you. Give me some time.

The spurs are filed down so as to not be sharp and dangerous. Otherwise, its a neat conversation piece for sure!!

KUCH: Here are some possibilities. I forgot which store it was as I can't find the receipt. If I do, I'll let you know. Any one of these stores may have the coin items since I saw many stores with these leather studded coin items. Problem is, I was in so many stores, they all look alike after a while. Good luck.

What's a concho? I've seen this term used before on these forums.
