New Pics.....any good?

Just got a new lighting setup for the camera and tried it out tonight for the first time. Along with some new adjustments to the settings this is the end results. What do you think?

    very interesting effect on the Rosevelt !!! Was the Swiss shot through the plastic of the 2x2 or a slab?

    It's in a PCGS slab. The scratches and dots and junk are all on the slab. With the exception of the somewhat vertical lines in the fields (you can really see them above Helvetia's head)....those are die polish lines common on specimens.

    The top one is the best one in my eyes. Very nice. Whatever you did there, I would try to remember it. image

    Thanks Stu. I find it much easier to take nice pics of cameo and deep cameo proof coins than I do mint state or non-cameo proofs. Still workin' on it image

    I have my hardest time with regular mint state coins by far. The reflective surfaces and not enough contrast between fields and devices makes it difficult to light it right and make it look good. I enjoy taking pics of coins but it can be SO frustrating!image
