Confusion on the found cash in Mass.

  I hear that the owner did not know about the cash in the cans, assuming that is the real story....

  These guys who supposedly found the cash were all arrested, or have warrants out for their arrest. They were doing a roofing job at a house (barn) and found the tins, which were full of cash. They took their "find", and made up the story about finding the cash in the ground.
  
  The owner of the house/barn is an elderly woman and the property has been with her family for generations.
  
  There is a report of an offer on the collection at $740,000 in my local paper as well.
  
  Eventually, the homeowner is going to receive the collection back, but it's going to take a bit of time to sort the whole mess out. Hopefully these guys didn't sell or stash away much of that collection.

  There is an update to the story......The dirtbags made up the story about digging up the notes. They actually found the notes in the rafters of an old barn they were repairing. Two of them were arrested yesterday.
  
  They went on all these newsstations and all 3 of them had a slightly different story so the cops investigates and they confessed. It will probably turn out pretty nice for the owner of the barn who probably had no idea the notes were in there
