Ever have a night you just have to buy something???

I have been searching Ebay for about 4 hours looking for something that catches my eye at the right price. I typically look for color as most of you know but I wasn't really finding anything that wowed me so I moved on to Bust coinage, then Barbers....then Gold...then Commems........nothing...nodda....no coins jumped out at me in my price range.

I then started looking at the usual coin sites....Heritage, Northeast, etc.....still no luck. Finally I stumbled onto a few color coins and decided a few of them looked good and the price was right so here is one of the coins I purchased......not my images of course so I will take some new one's once the coin arrives

I typically stay away from reverse toners...but this one had a lot of eye appeal for the grade so what the heck

I'd be broke in a week if I collected coins that way. This is why I force myself to complete sets. Makes the purchases less often, but at times more expensive when you do find the "right" coin. Otherwise I'd be buying 10,000 coin lots every night!!!

Nice Morgan -- throw up some better pics when you get it. I bet it has great luster!

Actually its not a coin but it is coin related and I think I got a good deal. I'll post pics tomorrow if the dealer confirms its mine!

and I get the urge to buy.

BTW, looks like nice colors there, but the pic is highly pixilated (probably from excess compression).

Yeah, it's a bit*h just sitting on your hands while you look at a coin you can just almost afford going off in an auction. For me, a very nice MS 62 '08 $10 NM is available in an upcoming auction. My tribe tells me they can not be whole until she joins. Nice examples of these that haven't been been pushed to the edge of their grade are hard to locate and I really want one in the worst way but I can't buy any more coins till July because I can only use descretionary funds. Sometimes, discipline is necessary to assure longevity also stated as descretion is the better part of valor.

Yes it was pixilated in the original listing and then when I increased the size of the image it made it worse. I think the image is good enought to dtermine the coin will look pretty good in hand, but things like strike and luster and just impossible to see at this point. I will certainly get some better images posted once I get the coin in hand.

Not what I would consider a monster in the grade of MS63...but I think it still fits in with my collection as I don't have all "A" color coins due to budget concerns
