Why do Englehard Bars cost more than Johnson & M....

Does anyone know why Englehard bars seem to carry a premium over other forms of silver bars?

Thanks,
David

englehard is the gold standard of silver bars and is currently in demand and the top reconized brand when it comes to the end users confidence

big demand and strong brand reconitition around the world

  • Well,

Maybe it's because the Englehard bars stack better and come in a cool plastic box?

  • Englehard and J&M are equivalent as far as I'm concerned. I prefer the J&M old-style 100 ouncers myself.

Both are well known and reputable companies. I would make your buying decision on which bars are less expensive.

I have to admit that I am biased from having worked at JM. The quality/purity of the silver is equivalent. The difference is mainly in the marketing of the product and format of the bars.
