I changed my mind and decided not to open ten rolls until much, much later - maybe in 10 years. Maybe I will never open them - who knows. And besides I am just tired of opening nickels. I'm fun done.
So I took a per roll average of the ones that I did open (for contest - and previously - altho the same) - to average in with the ones that I did . . . . and Rampage wins.
While I won't reveal any of the correct answers, I will say that I had 50 rolls (total - less for contest as some were previously opened) and opened 40, and not one roll had a goose egg so far. (Knock on wood.) I also finally hit my *8 roll* (only one!) which is the highest amount that I have found in one roll.
Thanks to all the 'great' people who entered, and on this forum.

Here's the rules for giveaway: You need to guess 3 things:
1.) What day and time will I post my 3K post.
2.) How many more "Speared Bison" ROLLS do I still have to open.
3.) How many "Speared Bisons" will be in those unopened rolls.
Closest on all counts wins . . . . you guessed it - one RAW uncirculated "Speared Bison" error nickel.
In event of a tie, the tie breaker question is: How many raw SB are laying on my desk right now, as I type, that I just busted out of the rolls I opened today.
Those who have previously knocked the Speared Bison are ineligible to enter for obvious reasons. If however, you have posted negatively about the Speared Bison in the past, and would like to apologize in this thread *before* you guess, then you can enter.
Have fun and good luck! This contest will end when I post my 3K post because I am going to bust open some rolls tonite!!!

I still think it is all good for Pam, but I still believe she can't handle dissenting opinions and to post her contest that way she did....pretty rude.
Why not just ignore those that enter that she doesn't want to win?
That's better than being "holier than thou" and tell people to grovel at her feet in order to try to win (when, you can bet they wouldn't anyway).
Oh well, I am content with the Wisconsin Extra Leaf quarters I bought from Rick (EagleEye) a few months back. I like them a lot and people that i have shown them to have appreciated them and like how you can tell it is an extra leave and not just a line through the middle of a coin.
